\nValdosta Locally Grown is an online farmers market being formed to bring\nconsumers together with small farms, gardeners, and food producers located\naround Valdosta , Georgia, all carrying the common thread of dedication\nto community, environment, health and education.\nWe hope to be operating by the early spring harvest season.\n<\/blockquote>\nThey are working on a\n\nwebsite<\/a>.\nTheir primary instigator is Tom Kuettner, whom you can see here\nat the Hahira Farmers Market:\n\n\n

\nHere in South Georgia, we are blessed with an abundance of farmer\u2019s markets, both large and small, that enable us all to have access to fresh fruits and vegetables at low prices. Families, restaurants and schools all benefit from the local farms and markets year round, not just during the summer months.\n<\/blockquote>\nBeyond the parking lot, now let’s also use the Internet to help distribute\nlocal food.\n
