CU-2025-02 Perma-Fix of South Georgia 1612 James P Rodgers Circle<\/a>.\r\nSeveral people spoke against it, including\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=agcRdDCB8Sg&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiFlb3wdms2MJznQ2zzMn1ew&#038;index=10&#038;t=840s\">Gretchen Quarterman at 14 minutes<\/a>.\r\nThe Planning Commissioners voted 4:5 to recommend denying that Conditional Use application,\r\nbut then they voted 5:4 to recommend approving.\r\n<p style=\"text-align:center;font-size:80%;font-style:italic\">\r\n<a title=\"Collage @ LCC 27 January 2025\" name=\"M:Collage-LCC-27-January-2025\" href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2025-01-27--glpc-videos\/many.html\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2025-01-27--glpc-videos\/many.jpg\"  alt=\"[Collage @ LCC 27 January 2025]\"><\/a>\r\n<br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2025-01-27--glpc-videos\/many.html\">Collage @ LCC 27 January 2025<\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nThe Greater Lowndes Planning Commission (GLPC) merely advises.\r\nThe actual decision will be at the \r\nThursday, February 6, Valdosta City Council (VCC) meeting.\r\nValdosta has no agenda posted yet for that meeting:\r\n<br>\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.valdostacity.com\/city-council\/agendas-minutes\">\r\nhttps:\/\/www.valdostacity.com\/city-council\/agendas-minutes<\/a>\r\n<p>\r\nLAKE has sent in an open records request for the VCC board packet.\r\n<p>\r\nAnother long Valdosta City case was<!--more-->\r\n\r\n\r\n<a href=\"#VA-2025-01\">\r\n9. VA-2025-01 James Warren (202 Denmark Street) Rezone 0.73 acres from R-6 to C-C<\/a>.\r\nThe Commissioners unanimously recommended approval.\r\n<p>\r\nThe two parts of the Hahira case took a while due to being complicated:\r\n<a href=\"#N-13-Lemaka-Holdings-presentation-of-cases-votes-in-following-videos\">\r\n12. \/13 Lemaka Holdings<\/a>.\r\n<p>\r\nTwo county cases also took a long time:\r\n<a href=\"#REZ-2025-01\">\r\n3. REZ-2025-01 Hurtado Property, Bethany Drive ~6.4 acres R-A to R-1<\/a>,\r\nwhere there were already flooding concerns from previous development.\r\nOnly the property owner spoke for.\r\nSeveral citizens spoke against.\r\nEight Planning Commissioners voted to recommend denial; Franklin Bailey voted against the motion.\r\n<p>\r\nAnd\r\n<a href=\"#REZ-2025-04\">\r\n6. REZ-2025-04: River Run Farm, 6490 River Run, Naylor, Ga ,27.12 ac.
