\r\nThe Lowndes County Commission be busy Monday morning at their Work Session\r\nand Tuesday evening at their voting Regular Session.\r\n

\r\nIt will be interesting to see what they do with\r\nREZ-2024-18 LSO Invest, 3910 Old US 41 N<\/a>,\r\nsince the Planning Commission voted 7-1 to recommend denial,\r\nand I hear the underlying applicant is a County Commissioner.\r\n

\r\nThey will vote on two members for the\r\nValdosta Lowndes County Conference Center and Tourism Authority<\/a>,\r\none reappointment, and one to replace Michael Smith,\r\nwho was elected to the Lowndes County Commission.\r\n

\r\nThey will also be voting on close to $5 million, most of it in one paving project, of\r\nColeman Road NW<\/a>, that one using TSPLOST funds.\r\n

\r\nThe other big ticket items are hurricane damage repair, new motor graders,\r\nand several kinds of insurance.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
