\nI’m concerned that a barrier to dialog is getting higher, rather\nthan lower.\nWhen the citizens make the effort to come to a meeting after a long day of work,\nor maybe they come in the morning when they don’t actually get to talk,\nit’s important for them to get a chance to be heard.\n<\/blockquote>\nShe describes how the\n\nZoning Board of Appeals<\/a>\n(on which she is a county appointee) does it:\n
\nWhen you’re done saying stuff new,\nthen everybody else that has something to say, they just raise their hand.\n<\/blockquote>\nAnd her main point:\n
\nI’d like to sort of suggest that\nhou have some dialog about \nthis resolution that you just made.<\/a>\nMaybe it could be modified so that people could continue to come,\nrather than three people could come.\n<\/blockquote>\n
