That&#8217;s larger than the 350 kW array VLCIA has &#8220;about to\nbreak ground&#8221;, and Dalton got theirs without having to take a biomass\nplant with it.\n<\/blockquote>\nWhat&#8217;s puzzling about this is it would have been so easy to say,\n&#8220;Now we&#8217;ve heard there&#8217;s a slightly larger solar array in Dalton,\nGeorgia, but we&#8217;re still proud of ours, and ours can expand in\ntwo directions.&#8221;\nWhy act as if he didn&#8217;t know about something slightly larger?\n<p>\nAt least this is better than his\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/01\/brad-loftons-memory-fails-him-again.html\">previous memory failures<\/a>\nin which he claimed people hadn&#8217;t met with him when they had,\nor <a href=\"\/blog\/2010\/09\/george-rhynes-is-not-in-favor-of-the-biomass-plant.html\">\nclaimed that because somebody had met with them that meant\nthey were in favor of the biomass plant.<\/a>\nHe was much more civil this time.\n<p>\nAnyway, as I&#8217;ve said a number of times,\nincluding directly to the VLCIA board,\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=j0IKmBDhMjc\">\nI&#8217;m in favor of the VLCIA&#8217;s solar array,\nand I&#8217;m all for making it bigger<\/a>,\nalthough\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/01\/were-industrial-development-mary-gooding.html\">I think there are other solar projects\nthat could involve local businesses without\neven needing to trade them land<\/a>.\n<p>\n-jsq\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Speaking at the Lake Park Chamber of Commerce 28 January 2011, Industrial Authority Executive Director Brad Lofton remarked about: The largest solar panel array that we are aware of today in the state of Georgia.
