So we called him and demanded a meeting. He agreed,\nand we read through the comic book over coffee to address his concerns. At\nthe end, he granted permission to print and then asked: &#8220;Could I have\na few extra copies for my kids?&#8221;\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<!--more-->\n<blockquote>\nThe comic book has been credited with\n<a href=\"http:\/\/forusa.org\/blogs\/ethan-vesely-flad\/martin-luther-king-egypt-fellowship-reconciliation\/8479\">\ninspiring young activists<\/a> in Egypt\nand the larger region (we have a Farsi version as well). Last week I\ndistributed copies in Tahrir Square. Seeing the scene in the square\nfirsthand is amazing. Despite violent attacks and tanks in the street,\nyoung people from all walks of life are coming together, organizing\nfood and medical care, and offering a living model of free civil society\nin action.\n<\/blockquote>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hamsaweb.org\/comic\/\">\nHAMSA, Hands Across the Mideast Support Alliance,<\/a> notes:\n<blockquote>\nThe comic book ends with a section on \u201chow the Montgomery Method\nworks,\u201d outlining essential techniques of nonviolence.\n<\/blockquote>\nThey also have a Farsi edition for Persian speakers, such as in Iran.\n<p>\nMLK, still working for peace today.\n<p>\nDalia Ziada says why she did it:\n<blockquote>\n&#8220;The main message I hope that Arabic readers will take from the MLK comic\nbook is that: change is not impossible. It is time to stop using our\nmuscles blindly.
