\n<\/iframe>\n<br>\n<center>\n<small>\nRegular meeting of the Lowndes County Commission, 8 February 2011,<br>\nValdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia.<br>\nVideo by Gretchen Quarterman for LAKE, the Lowndes Area Knowledge Exchange.\n<\/small>\n<\/center>\n<p>\nSome of us did wonder when next thing was\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2RYtZD44nHI\">\nNoll’s microphone went off<\/a>.\nBut that was apparently just a technical failure, which continued\nfor a while during the meeting.\n<p>\nI commend Chairman Paulk for his recent civil and,\nas Commissioner Lee used to say,\n“adult-like manner.”\n<p>\nHowever, as County Manager Joe Pritchard reminded everyone later at the\nCounty Commission retreat,\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/02\/we-can-limit-them-to-one-area-joe-pritchard.html\">the county government is still having a bit\nof difficulty adjusting to all this recent transparency.<\/a>\nLet’s help them by showing them by example on many topics that\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/01\/the-road-of-respect-goes-both-ways-matt-flumerfelt-1.html\">the road of respect goes both ways.<\/a>\n<p>\n-jsq\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Shutting down debate didn’t work, so now we have the era of good feelings at the County Commission.
