\n“has not yet identified or completed a comprehensive list\nof potential suppliers of raw materials,\ngoods and services required to construct and operate\nthe biomass electric generating plant.”\n<\/blockquote>\nThis is on a sheet entitled\n“Owners\/Investors\/Suppliers\/Contracts”, which also says:\n
\n“Site preparation and construction is not scheduled\nto begin until June 1, 2011.”\n<\/blockquote>\nHm, what happened to breaking ground in January 2011?\nThe document also said a “Project Critical Path time-line is attached”\nbut it wasn’t.\n

\nRegarding buyers for the plant’s power:\n\n\n

\n“Wiregrass Power, LLC is currently negotiating a\nPower Purchase Agreement<\/u> with several Georgia Utilities.\nThe negotiations are ongoing and confidential in nature until a final\nagreement is negotiated, approved and signed.”\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<\/a>\nThese answers are even less forthcoming than\n\nback on 27 April 2010 at the air quality hearing<\/a>\nor when I asked about sources for the wood and buyers for the power\n\nat the 6 Dec 2011 VLCIA “Forum”<\/a>.\n\n<\/a>\nBut the basic answers remain the same: no they don’t have\nsources for the wood or buyers for the power.\n

\nThe document also says\n

\nWiregrass Power, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sterling Planet, Inc.\n(www.sterlingplanet.com<\/a>)…\n<\/blockquote>\nAs for other investors, VLCIA claims not to know, and refers us to the\nEconomic Development Agreement, which it says was attached, but wasn’t.\nFortunately, LAKE has made available\n\na copy someone previously obtained through another open records request.<\/a>\n

\nAfter some compliments about Sterling Planet, the current document refers\nus to\nwww.sterlingplanet.com\/staff<\/a>\nfor further information, and appends two sheets taken from Sterling’s\nweb pages, which appear to be old versions of Sterling’s\nabout us<\/a>\nand\n\nrenewable energy<\/a> pages.\n

\n\n<\/a>\nHere’s\n\nChairman Sonny Murphy of Sterling Planet<\/a>\nspeaking at the groundbreaking of Wiregrass Solar LLC,\nwhich is another Sterling Planet subsidiary.\nSterling’s solar subsidiary is quite popular hereabouts,\nyet many of the same people\noppose Sterling’s biomass plant<\/a>\nfor a variety of reasons<\/a>,\nmany of which\n\nperhaps VLCIA should take more seriously.<\/a>\n
