\r\nBoth Work Session and Regular Session are Monday, January 9, 2023, for the Lowndes County Commission.\r\nBoth will probably be brief, because it’s a short agenda of mostly routine items.\r\n

\r\nThe rezoning at Skipper Bridge Road and GA 122 for a Dollar General<\/a>\r\nis NOT<\/em> on this agenda.\r\nHowever, those interested may want to show up and be seen by the Commissioners,\r\nto remind them that people care and will be there on January 24th at the Public Hearing.\r\n

\r\nThey will reappoint Jonathan Vigue to the \r\nValdosta-Lowndes County Convention Center and Tourism Authority (VLCCCTA)\r\nboard.\r\n

\r\nDavid Westberry has also applied to the VLCCCTA board and to the\r\nSouth Georgia Regional Library (SGRL) board.\r\nThe opening on the latter is because Steve Boatner resigned.\r\nThe SGRL board submitted Darlene Ridley for consideration,\r\nso that’s probably who they will appoint.\r\n

\r\nDan Deaver does not want to be reappointed to the \r\nValdosta-Lowndes Parks and Recreational Authority (VLPRA) board.\r\nDavid Westberry has applied, and he may get on that one.\r\n
