\r\nA Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Grant was\r\nthe longest item at yesterday morning’s Lowndes County Commission Work Session,\r\nfollowed by manhole improvements.\r\nThe manholes will cost $439,836.00, but the grant will provide money to the county.\r\n

\r\nThe two millage items taking no more than 18 seconds each,\r\nwith presentation deferred to the 5PM Public Hearing today.\r\nThey vote on all these items at 5:30 PM this evening.\r\n

\r\nTwo technical items took\r\n\r\n about a minute each:\r\nUtilities radios, and QPublic tax appeals module.\r\n

\r\nEverything else got little or no discussion.\r\n
