\r\nMore road building TIA projects to promote more sprawl,\r\na redot to\r\n\r\nlet a developer off the hook for not doing drainage as required<\/a>,\r\na subdivision special tax lighting district,\r\nseveral water projects in already-developed areas,\r\na grant to prevent juvenile delinquency,\r\nand the annual renewal of permits for both waste collection companies,\r\nall on\r\n\r\nthe agenda<\/a>\r\nfor this morning’s Lowndes County Work Session, for voting Tuesday evening.\r\n

\r\nFunny how they never count the later cost of box culverts and water main extensions when they approve rezonings for subdivisions,\r\nbut here some of those are later.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\nThat\r\n\r\n former detention pond site<\/a> is actually parcel 0144 205A now,\r\nand it’s at\r\n4115 Little Viking Road.\r\nThey also don’t tell we the taxpayers and voters where the new detention area is.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nHISTORY, FACTS AND ISSUES: Map 0144 Parcel 205 owned by Rubber Tire,\r\nLLC was originally designed for the entire lot to be one of the\r\ndetention areas for Roswell Place Subdivision and has been the\r\ndetention area since the subdivision was built. Rubber Tire, LLC had\r\nthe detention area redesigned, approved, and constructed so the lot\r\ncould become a buildable lot. Lowndes County will need to Quit Claim\r\nthe existing detention area back to Rubber Tire, LLC and accept a\r\ndrainage easement for the new detention area from Rubber Tire, LLC.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n
