\r\nIn the previous post<\/a> I detailed how Lowndes County had\r\nreferred me to the Southern Georgia Regional Commission (SGRC) to get the board packet item for the \r\nDasher item on the agenda<\/a> for tonight’s Greater Lowndes Planning Commission (GLPC) meeting, Monday, January 31, 2022.\r\n

\r\nSo I sent email to Loretta Hylton at the SGRC.\r\nShe returned a PDF of the document within less than ten minutes.\r\nNo need for an open records request.\r\n

\r\nThat contrasts with more than three days and only after I quoted the open records law Lowndes County was probably violating.\r\n

\r\nSo that Dasher packet item is\r\non the LAKE website<\/a> along with\r\n\r\nthe others<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nYou may ask, why did it take me four days to put this packet item online?\r\n

\r\nFair question, but I ask: why doesn’t Lowndes County put the entire GLPC board packet online\r\nwhere everyone can see it, like many counties larger and smaller in Georgia and Florida\r\nhave been doing for years?\r\n\r\n\r\n
