REZ-2022-03 Windy Hill Subdivision, 7532 Miller Bridge Rd., 0010 022, ~34 ac.,\r\nE-A to R-A.\r\n<p>\r\nI would tell you more, but Lowndes County has not returned the board packet\r\ndespite having more than the three days the Georgia Open Records Act (GORA)\r\npermits for returning such documents.\r\nSo I&#8217;ve included some information provided by the opposition.\r\n<p style=\"text-align:center;font-size:80%;font-style:italic\">\r\n<a title=\"Agenda, Opposition to Miller Bridge Road rezoning\" name=\"M:Agenda-Opposition-to-Miller-Bridge-Road-rezoning\" href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2022-01-31--glpc-packet\/many.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2022-01-31--glpc-packet\/many.jpg\"  alt=\"[Agenda, Opposition to Miller Bridge Road rezoning]\" border=0><\/a>\r\n<br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2022-01-31--glpc-packet\/many.html\">Agenda, Opposition to Miller Bridge Road rezoning<\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nThat&#8217;s one of four subdivision rezonings, one in Dasher, the other three in\r\nunincorporated Lowndes County.\r\nThe Miller Bridge Road one is different because it&#8217;s still in an aquifer recharge zone,\r\nstill far outside any appropriate Character Area in the Comprehensive Pland,\r\nand it has overwhelming opposition.\r\nSee this map that opponents tell me was a house-to-house team effort to get people to sign a petition against the rezoning.\r\nIt shows the parcels owned by the opponents.\r\nThey&#8217;ve got the subject parcel surrounded for miles around.<!--more-->\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align:center;font-size:80%;font-style:italic\">\r\n<a title=\"Opposition to Miller Bridge Road Rezoning\" name=\"REZ202203:Opposition-to-Miller-Bridge-Road-Rezoning\" href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2022-01-31--glpc-packet\/opposition-to-miller-bridge-road-rezoning.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2022-01-31--glpc-packet\/opposition-to-miller-bridge-road-rezoning.jpg\"  alt=\"[Opposition to Miller Bridge Road Rezoning]\" border=0><\/a>\r\n<br><a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/govt\/glpc\/2022-01-31--glpc-packet\/opposition-to-miller-bridge-road-rezoning.html\">Opposition to Miller Bridge Road Rezoning<\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nI have reminded Lowndes County of this passage from GORA:\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nO.C.G.A. &sect; 50-18-71. Right of access; timing; fees; denial of\r\nrequests; impact of electronic records\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:italic;font-weight:bold\">\r\n(b) (1) (A) Agencies shall produce for inspection all records responsive \r\nto a request within a reasonable amount of time not to exceed three\r\nbusiness days of receipt of a request; provided, however, that nothing in \r\nthis chapter shall require agencies to produce records in response to a\r\nrequest if such records did not exist at the time of the request. In those\r\ninstances where some, but not all, records are available within three\r\nbusiness days, an agency shall make available within that period those\r\nrecords that can be located and produced. In any instance where records\r\nare unavailable within three business days of receipt of the request, \r\nand responsive records exist, the agency shall, within such time period,\r\nprovide the requester with a description of such records and a timeline\r\nfor when the records will be available for inspection or copying and\r\nprovide the responsive records or access thereto as soon as practicable.\r\n<p>\r\nMy requests for the board packets for the Lowndes County Commission and Planning Commission were sent on Tuesday.
