\r\nThe good news:\r\n\r\nWells Road and Folsom Bridge Landing remain open<\/a>,\r\nafter the Commissioners unanimously denied the road closure.\r\nThanks to Commissioner Clay Griner for making the motion,\r\nsaying that the request met none of the criteria.\r\n

\r\nThe bad news:\r\n\r\nby a 3:2 vote they approved the subdivision way too far north on Val Del Road<\/a>,\r\nfar outside the subdivision character area,\r\ndespite the Planning Commission, county staff, and three speakers against in the Public Hearing.\r\nGriner also made that motion.\r\nThe \r\naudience was not happy<\/a>, especially at Commissioner Scottie Orenstein for voting for that motion.\r\n

\r\nThe Commissioners also approved without comment\r\n\r\nthe $1 million unnecessary water main<\/a>\r\nas part of the $5 million utilities package.\r\n

\r\nThey approved everything else unanimously.\r\n
