\r\nLowndes County, GA, has a budget Public Hearing today at 5PM,\r\nand a Special Called Board of Commissioners Meeting on June 29th\r\nto approve the budget.\r\nIt will include the new fire special tax collection district,\r\nthe one that is causing\r\n\r\ntax assessment notices to go out again with corrections<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nAs usual, the draft budget is not<\/em><\/strong> on the\r\n\r\nFinance Department web page<\/a>.\r\nProbably if you go down to the Commission office and wheedle,\r\nthey will point you to one bound copy you can look at.\r\n
