\r\nAfter discussion Monday morning, on Tuesday evening the Lowndes County Commission will approve spending $2 million tax dollars, mostly in $1.6 million on\r\n\r\nLake Park Bellville Road<\/a>, including relocating water and sewer lines.\r\nThere’s another $90,000 on\r\nHightower Road and Cooper Road NE, Right of Way Purchases<\/a>.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\nREZ-2020-20 Ballyntyne 6712 Clyattstone Road<\/a>\r\nis back yet again, this time probably to be improved.\r\nThe agenda sheet says no cost for that rezoning,\r\nbut remember last time we added up more than $3 million the county\r\nhas already spent on Clyattstone Road and water and sewer infrastructure.\r\n

\r\nThe least expensive item with dollars listed is\r\nFY 2020 Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Grant<\/a>, because it will be fully reimbursed.\r\n

\r\nAlso inexpensive and probably cost-effective is\r\nAgreement with SGRC to Develop 2021 Lowndes County Comprehensive Plan Update<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nListed at no cost to the county is\r\nAddition to Basic Decorative Street Lighting District – Creekside West, Ph. 6 & 7 and Val Del Villas<\/a>,\r\nwhich includes maps of subdivisions in northwest Lowndes County,\r\nallowing you to see the extent of sprawl so far in that direction.\r\n
