\nPublic Notice of a Public Comment and Review Period and Public Open House\n

\n\n<\/a>\nIn accordance with requirements set forth in 23 CFR 450.316, 42 USC\n2000d, Executive Order 12898, and Executive Order 13166, and other laws\nand regulations; the Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Planning Organization\n(VLMPO) has developed the Draft Public Participation Plan (PPP) which\nincludes a Limited-English Proficiency Plan and Title VI Compliance\nPlan, for the Valdosta Metropolitan Planning Area which includes all of\nLowndes County and portions of Berrien and Lanier Counties.\n

\nThis PPP is available for\n\npublic review and comment from April 15, 2011\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

\nto May 31, 2011<\/a> at the Southern Georgia Regional Commission, 327 W\nSavannah Ave.; all public libraries in Berrien, Lanier and Lowndes\nCounties; on the VLMPO website (www.sgrc.us\/transportation); all county\ngovernment administration offices in Berrien, Lanier and Lowndes\nCounties; and all city government administration offices in Lowndes\nCounty.\n

\n\nOn Tuesday, May 17, 2011 the VLMPO will host a Public Open House<\/a> at the\noffice of the Southern Georgia Regional Commission (327 W Savannah Ave.)\nfrom 9:00 am to 7:00 pm to allow members of the public to ask questions\nand speak to VLMPO staff regarding the PPP.
