\nTickets are on sale for the 2013 Bird Supper, scheduled for\nWednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at the historic Georgia Railroad Depot, in\nAtlanta, beginning at 5 p.m. The tradition—over 50 years\nold—brings together hundreds of state officials and local\nbusiness, professional and government personnel for a dinner of\nquail and important conversation.\n<\/p>\n
\nThe event, sponsored by the City of Valdosta and the Lowndes County\nBoard of Commissioners, allows local professionals the opportunity\nto have an impact on the current legislative agenda through\nface-to-face conversations with those who will make some very\nimportant decisions impacting our local area and entire state.\n<\/p>\n
\nfor $50 each at the Lowndes County\nJudicial-Administrative Complex, located at 327 North Ashley Street,\nFirst Floor-Utility Payment Window. Tickets are also available for\npurchase from the City Clerk at Valdosta City Hall, located at 216\nE. Central Avenue.\n<\/p>\n\nExecutive Pearl Shuttle is offering a transportation option for\nattendees of the 2013 event. The 38-passenger charter bus ride up to\nAtlanta and back will cost only $40 per person. Tickets are\navailable on a first-come first-served basis and may be purchased at\nthe city and county locations listed above. This transportation\noption is convenient for locals who want to attend the Bird Supper,\nbut who don’t want to spend the night in Atlanta and incur the\nadditional costs. The bus will leave Valdosta on Feb. 27 at noon,\nand it is scheduled to depart the Georgia Railroad Depot immediately\nfollowing the Bird Supper event.\n<\/p>\n
