\r\nLowndes County staff are proposing to spend\r\n$124,454,\r\naccording to all the “BUDGET IMPACT”s board packet:\r\n$48,500 for a\r\n\r\nJury Management System<\/a>,\r\n$1,469.00 for\r\n\r\nCondemning ROW for Howell Lane Paving Project<\/a>,\r\n$3,500.00 (approx.) for \r\n\r\nSecond Modification of GEFA Loan Agreement<\/a>,\r\nand for the Fire Department\r\n$29,195.00 for\r\n\r\na 1\/2 Ton Truck<\/a> and\r\n$41,790.00 for\r\n\r\na Breathing Air System<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThey propose\r\n\r\nto borrow $1,734,000 from the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA)<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nFor the first time ever! Lowndes County has returned the board packet before<\/em> the Work Session.\r\n

\r\nLAKE sent an open records request Tuesday, and the county actually supplied the packet Friday, with this note:\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\nThe packet you requested is attached. We understand and are aware of\r\nthe 3 days for open records requests. However, in many instances,\r\nthe packet is not ready until Friday morning.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nLAKE looks forward to the county putting all these packet documents\r\non the county’s own website, along with the\r\nagenda<\/a> and agenda sheets.\r\n
