\nIn Council Comments at the end of the\n21 April 2011\nValdosta City Council meeting,\nSonny Vickers talked about bids.\n

\nThen Deidra White said she would attend any meeting\nwhere she could hear and reply to citizens’ concerns,\nbut she can can’t say anything about Citizens\nto be Heard because there’s a Council policy.\n

\nThat’s interesting, considering that in the previous\nValdosta City Council meeting, in Citizens to be Heard,\n\nCouncil Sonny Vickers responded to Dr. Mark George saying\nthat he had already told everyone that he was for the biomass plant.<\/a>\nDoes this mean that Council supporters\nof the biomass plant can speak\n\n\nand opponents cannot?\nIf so, what other topics have a similar lopsided muzzling policy?\n

\nMayor Pro Tem Alvin Payton talked about an education\nclass at Wiregrass Technical College.\nHe then called for adjournment,\nand they went into executive session.\n
