\r\nSee also\r\nthe announcement of this June meeting\r\nin an unannounced May meeting<\/a>.\r\nBack then Commissioners said the $108 million proposed budget\r\nincludes a new litter collection division\r\nwhich they’re considering using to replace Keep Lowndes-Valdosta Beautiful (KLVB).\r\n

\r\nWhich is more than we know from the agenda of today’s budget meeting,\r\nbecause no agenda is posted.\r\n

\r\nThe proposed budget is not on\r\n\r\n\r\nthe county Finance Department’s web pages<\/a>.\r\nI think I did see a paper copy at the Commission’s front desk\r\non the third floor of 327 N. Ashley Street.\r\n

\r\nI was there attempting to pick up results from my open records\r\nrequest for\r\n\r\ntoday’s 5:30 PM Regular Session<\/a>.\r\nI was told those documents would be ready by the end of today,\r\nor by Wednesday at the latest.\r\nIn other words, the documents for the 5:30 PM meeting would\r\nnot be available until after the Commission votes,\r\nand if you want to see the budget proposal of the budget hearing,\r\nyou’ll have to go look at the one paper copy in their office,\r\nor go see the slide presentation in the hearing.\r\n
