\n4.b. CU-2018-13 Scintilla Charter Academy Conditional Use Permit<\/a>,
\nto add a Middle School to an Elementary School.<\/p>\n

\nThe most-discussed general topic on the agenda was water, with
\nUtility Director Darryl Muse speaking about
\n
\n5.b. Bids for 10 emergency standby generators for Utilities<\/a>,
\n
\n5.c. Bids for water treatment chemicals for Utilities<\/a>,
\nand
\n
\n6.b. Purchase SCADA system for Lift Stations and Water Treatment Plants<\/a>,
\nwith frequent questions from Council members.
\nThey did bring up the
\nrecent major spill at the Withlacoochee Wastewater Treatment Plant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nIn Citizens to Be Heard,
\nI

\ntold them what Valdosta Utilities hadn’t<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nAlso in CTBH,
\nJohn Robinson spoke about how
\n
\nsmall businesses need to thrive<\/a>
\nand another speaker said
\n
\nhe had been attacked physically by a local business man<\/a>.
\nRenaming Forrest Street was discussed by<\/p>\n

\na Pastor Jasper whose last name I didn’t get<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nAnd they made one appointment each to
