\r\nIt’s the end of an era at the Valdosta-Lowndes County Industrial Authority (VLCIA),\r\nexcuse me, the Development Authority,\r\nnow that Roy Copeland declined to be reappointed.\r\nTo his joint-appointment position,\r\nValdosta appointed Aneesha Johnson<\/a>, and\r\n\r\nthe Lowndes County Commission may confirm Tuesday<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nIn Monday morning’s Work Session, they will also consider\r\n\r\nabandoning the end of Reed Road<\/a>\r\n(presumably the part that runs down to the Withlacoochee River),\r\nand\r\n\r\nending the hay lease<\/a>\r\n(presumably on the county’s Land Application Site).\r\nChief Ranger Stephen Spradley<\/a>\r\nof Georgia Forestry will say a few words.\r\nThey vote Tuesday at 5:30 PM.\r\n
