Quarterman for LAKE, the Lowndes Area Knowledge Exchange.\n<\/small>\n<p>\nCommissioner Carter told me that the county utilities\nwere there so he thought there was no reason not to approve.\nI was probably not the only person to tell Commissioner Evans\nafterwards that I was disappointed in her vote.\n<p>\nPersonally, I don&#8217;t see why developers&#8217; profits have to outweigh\nall considerations of neighbors.\nIncluding traffic and safety, which were never addressed by the\ncommissioners, except for Ashley Paulk&#8217;s\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/05\/lot-size-and-code-enforcement-on-old-pine-road-8-june-2010.html\">\nrefusal to even talk about &#8220;Bemiss Highway&#8221;.<\/a>\n<p>\nMaybe there has been some change since then.\nStay tuned for yesterday&#8217;s rezoning next door.\n<p>\n-jsq\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Should the County Commission approve rezoning for a subdivision just because developers say they won&#8217;t compromise any more?
