\r\nHere are pictures of a cemetery at the end of Baytree Road, just east of I-75\r\nand slightly south of the Withlacoochee River.\r\n

\r\nThe \r\nLowndes County Tax Assessors\r\nidentify it only as\r\n\r\n\r\nParcel 0081B 002<\/a> with owner\r\n“CEMETERY AT WITHALOOCHEE RIVER NEXT TO ELKS CLUB ON PALLBEARERS LANE”.\r\n

\r\n\r\n\"Tax<\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\nFindAGrave<\/a>\r\nidentifies it as River Hill Cemetery.\r\n

\r\n

\r\nThis cemetery is the burial ground for the River Hill Missionary\r\nBaptist Church. When a survey of the cemetery was conducted on 2\r\nJune 1987, 92 graves were counted. 46 were known graves. The\r\ncemetery has suffered some vandalism.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nAlso, it could use some improvements to its access road.\r\n

\r\nGetting from the church to the cemetery is rather convoluted.\r\n

\r\nThis is partly due to the rerouting of James Road because of the\r\n\r\nfailed 2007 James Road mega-mall project<\/a>,\r\nfor which we all keep paying in various ways.\r\n
