\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nLast week while we were out of town, the Lowndes County Commission considered\r\ntwo rezonings, one with\r\n\r\na Union Road, Hahira address<\/a>,\r\nby far the longest,\r\nwith Judge Arthur McLane speaking against,\r\nthe applicant Stacy Stubbs speaking for,\r\nand quite a bit of discussion among Commissioners and staff,\r\nafter which they approved it 3:2 with the two conditions proposed by the Planning Commission.\r\nThe other rezoning has\r\n\r\na Valdosta address<\/a>, which they approved unanimously;\r\nfor both see also\r\nthe preceding Planning Commission meeting<\/a>.\r\nPlus a third transportation item,\r\nGDOT Option for Right of Way at Exit 11<\/a>.\r\nA bid, a bunch of contracts, and an alcohol license; pretty routine.\r\nThe previously-tabled<\/a> and somewhat controversial\r\nAdditional Deputy Coroner Request<\/a>\r\n\r\n\r\npassed\r\n\r\n3:2<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nBelow is\r\nthe agenda<\/a>,\r\nfollowd by\r\n\r\nthe county’s own video<\/a> of the Regular Session of June 12, 2018.\r\nI hear they also video their Work Sessions, but I can’t find any such\r\nvideo for June 11.\r\n
