REZ-2018-07 William Branham - 2480 Copeland Road R-1 to R-10\r\n    \" src=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/UQjWLR_cB_Y\/hqdefault.jpg?sqp=-oaymwEWCKgBEF5IWvKriqkDCQgBFQAAiEIYAQ==&#038;rs=AOn4CLAl_vlfah7l2oEolruwh_5di_FYWg\"><\/a>\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=UQjWLR_cB_Y&#038;t=0s&#038;index=5&#038;list=PLshUv86fYkiGnzGTg-dh1caDqhqir72Xv\">Video.<\/a>\r\nApplicant Bill Branham had somebody else do most of his talking,\r\nBill Kent of Innovate Engineering, who stressed that &#8220;Mr. Branham was going beyond&#8221;\r\nby addition of a six-foot solid fence and tree-and-shrub buffering,\r\nand deeding ten feet to Lowndes County for future widening of Lester Road.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nRick Guest of Lester Road said his property had been rezoned R-10 many\r\nyears before he moved there and built his house in the middle of it,\r\nso it&#8217;s not a precedent, and he and the neighbors like their privacy.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nRoger Boyd of Copeland Road\r\nsummarized the neighbors&#8217; main concern as traffic and that it was a\r\nneighborhood who did not know who would be moving in, and the county middle school\r\nexpansion was right next to Mr. Branham&#8217;s development.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nJohn Register said he lived right to the west of the privacy fence\r\nand there would be too much traffic.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nPaul Thomas also was concerned about traffic.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCommissioners quizzed Kent about traffic.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCommissioner Chip Wildess moved for denial, and got no second.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCommissioner Vicki Rountree moved to recommend as presented, and that passed 6:1.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nBy &#8220;last year&#8221; apparently County Planner Jason Davenport meant a bit more than\r\na year ago, in December 2016.\r\nIt was recommended\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2016\/12\/videos-7-county-cases-2-city-rezonings-an-ldr-and-a-cup-glpc-2016-11-28.html#REZ-2016-23\">\r\non a split vote by the Planning Commission 2016-11-28<\/a>,\r\nbut failed at the\r\nLowndes County Commission\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2016\/12\/videos-health-appointment-7-rezonings-abandonment-soil-erosion-wastewater-and-alcohol-lcc-2016-12-12.html\">\r\nWork Session 2016-12-12<\/a>\r\nand\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2017\/01\/videos-turnberry-branham-peterson-road-lift-station-and-commissioner-comments-lcc-2016-12-13.html\">\r\nRegular Session 2016-12-13<\/a>\r\ndue to type of development, design, and &#8220;potential accomodations&#8221; to\r\nsize of house, etc.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nIn 2015, it\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.l-a-k-e.org\/blog\/2018\/03\/videos-branham-subdivision-bemiss-knights-academy-lake-park-glpc-2015-09-28.html\">\r\nwas rejected by the Planning Commission<\/a> on a split vote.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<li>\r\n<a name=\"VA-2018-04\" href=\"#VA-2018-04\">\r\n      6.
