\nAfter quoting from the U.S. Tenth and Fourth Amendments\nand talking about privacy rights,\nhe read similar passages from the Georgia Constitution,\nand this one, from\n\nSection II. Origin and Structure of Government<\/a>:\n

\nAll government, of right, originates with the people, is founded\nupon their will only, and is instituted solely for the good of the\nwhole. Public officers are the trustees and servants of the people and\nare at all times amenable to them.\n<\/blockquote>\nHe then read a definition of ordinance,\nand noted that many ordinances deal with issues of safety, health, morals,\netc.\n

\nHis recommendation: for the Commission to pass an ordinance\nlimiting hours of operation for such type of enterprises.\n

\nThat’s the county attorney visible directly past Schneider\n(under the microphone).\nOf course it’s the commissioners who must propose and pass any ordinance.\nThat will require\n\n\nthem being willing to take a position for the people\nand the good of the whole.\n

\n\n<\/a>\nAt least one local appointed board, the Zoing Board of Appeals,\nhas been willing\n\nto deny the corpulent fast-food giant a variance<\/a> for the good of the people.\nIs the County Commission willing to pass an ordinance for the good of the peoplpe?\n
