\r\nTwo cases, both contentious because neighbors blew them in for code violations.\r\nJoshua Stevens of Wendover Road<\/a>,\r\naccording to pictures submitted by neighbor Franklin J. Richards II,\r\nbuilt a building eight inches from another building.\r\n“Staff Recommendation: Find inconsistent<\/u> with the Variance Fteview Criteria and deny<\/strong><\/u> the requests.”\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\nDeep South Sanitation (DSS) of Tucker Road<\/a>\r\napparently has been using a neighboring\r\nlot as a staging area for trash trucks without permit approval,\r\nand there’s a complaint by Steve Edwards of Evergreen Landfill.\r\nIf I’m not mistaken, Evergreen Landfill is owned by\r\nAdvanced Disposal Services (ADS), and\r\nthis would appear to be the same Steve Edwards who has\r\n\r\nrepeatedly spoken for ADS<\/a>.\r\nProbably many readers recall, Lowndes County sued DSS on behalf of ADS\r\nall the way to the Georgia Supreme Court before finally coming up with a\r\n\r\nSolid Waste Ordinance<\/a> that allows two trash collection services to co-exist\r\nin Lowndes County.\r\nStaff recommend\r\n\r\n approving DSS’s variance with conditions.\r\n
