\r\nStafford Wright Road is getting its 12″ water main,\r\nconnecting\r\n\r\nall the way from Spring Creek subdivision off of\r\nStudstill Road to Val Del Road<\/a>.\r\nThat’s Nelson Hill on the center left and Foxborough lower left:\r\nsubdivisions like that are what to expect on Stafford Wright Road soon.\r\n

\r\nThis appears to be another no-bid contract, this time for\r\n$96,750<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nThe county in July\r\n\r\njust spent $27,750 on a pump and motor<\/a>\r\nfor Spring Creek\r\nwhich they said\r\nwas an emergency because it was running 24 hours a day<\/a>.\r\n

\r\nBack in February at their planning session they discussed\r\n\r\nthis as part of their desired complete loop<\/a>\r\namong the major county water systems (except Lake Alapaha).\r\n

\r\nSpeaking of Lake Alapaha, three years ago (2014) they\r\n\r\nbought about $1.5 million of new equipment for both Lake Alapaha and Spring Creek<\/a>\r\nfrom the same Lovell Engineering\r\nthat got \r\na $60,000 no-bid contract for Lake Alapaha the previous year (2013)<\/a>\r\nand is getting the no-bid contract this week.\r\n

\r\nAlso on the\r\nagenda<\/a> is\r\n\r\nreappointing Dr. Mark J. Eanes<\/a>\r\nto the\r\nLowndes County Board of Health<\/a>,\r\nand\r\nREZ-2017-11 Arrow Engineering Office<\/a>\r\nthat the\r\n\r\nPlanning Commission last month<\/a>\r\nrecommended\r\n\r\ndenying by a 5:2:1 vote<\/a>.\r\nI even spoke against it.\r\n
