\r\nYears ago I tried to explain to people on Stafford Wright Road that if the\r\ncounty ever paved that road, it wouldn’t be for the current residents.\r\nNow it’s getting\r\n\r\na water main with paving<\/a>.\r\nThe county only ever runs water to places it plans to have subdivisions.\r\nEnjoy your quiet country road while you can, old-time residents.\r\nYou’re about to be displaced for an expansion of “Central Lowndes County”\r\nwest of Skipper Bridge Road and north of Cherry Creek.\r\n

\r\nLowndes County has been approved for a\r\nGEFA Loan Agreement<\/a>\r\nsubmitted in December 2016, for upgrades at the Land Application Site (LAS)\r\nand lift stations.\r\nIt’s not clear whether that includes the purchase of\r\n\r\n\r\nE-One Low Pressure Sewage Grinder Pumps<\/a>.\r\nAlso, why should the County Manager be able to approve such pump purchases\r\n\r\nexceeding<\/em> $10,000?<\/a>\r\nShouldn’t that be less than or up to?\r\n
