\nIf school unification doesn’t cause bright flight, it doesn’t seem to

\nmore than 1 percentage point \u2014 many of them suburbs on the outer edge
\nof metropolitan areas such as Forsyth, Whitfield and Newton outside
\nAtlanta and Cabarrus and Union outside Charlotte.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So that makes Lanier County one of only 49<\/p>\n

\nas well as fewer blacks,
\nand Lanier is also whiter than the Georgia average.<\/p>\n

\nBright flight from Lowndes County<\/a> has already begun,
\nand CUEE’s school unification plan would only accelerate it.<\/p>\n

\nHow about instead we come up with a plan to improve education?<\/p>\n
