Since then\r\n10 of 18 regional counties have voted in the affirmative to have a\r\nregional list and vote. The members of the round table will be\r\ncounty commission chairs and one mayor from each county. First\r\nmeeting is in Pearson at 1PM on April 17 and the meeting is open to\r\nthe public.\r\nThe roundtable also must make a decision about whether and when\r\nto have the regional T-SPLOST referendum.\r\nIf roundtable decides for, all communities in the region will have\r\nto submit projects for approval by the roundtable and by GDOT.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCounty Engineer Mike Fletcher said &#8220;they&#8217;re pushing to get this done by November&#8221;.\r\nAnd if the vote in November failes, individual counties can schedule their own\r\nT-SPLOST vote later.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nCounty Manager Joe Pritchard further clarified that if the county\r\nhad voted two weeks ago to have its own individual T-SPLOST,\r\nthat would have been\r\noverridden by the 10 counties deciding to go on the regional vote.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nApparently Commissioner Joyce Evans is the &#8220;chairman of the regional commission&#8221;.\r\nShe and Chairman Bill Slaughter\r\nand Mike Fletcher will be at the Pearson meeting 1PM April 17th.\r\n<p style=\"font-style:normal\">\r\nJoyce Evans is listed as Chair of South Georgia Regional Commission Council\r\nin the <a href=\"http:\/\/nebula.wsimg.com\/6ee5809aa1469e81eda1bc5805ada577?AccessKeyId=7599C68BC55095BE1D8F&#038;disposition=0&#038;alloworigin=1\">\r\nSouthern Georgia Regional Commission Directory of Governments and Officials<\/a>,\r\nwhich says Vivian Miller-Cody and Anthony Payton are also council members from\r\nLowndes County: they are both on the Valdosta City Council.\r\nThat document lists three members of that Council from each the 18 SGRC counties, which are the same counties in the T-SPLOST region.\r\nExcept for Brooks County, for which it lists Myra Exum (Chair of the Brooks County Commission), James Brown, and Vacant.\r\nI&#8217;m not sure James Brown is still with us.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<li>\r\n<a name=\"N-9-Meting-Adjournment\" href=\"#N-9-Meting-Adjournment\">\r\n      9.
