\r\nNo T-SPLOST on\r\nthe agenda<\/a> for Monday morning,\r\ndespite tabling it two weeks ago<\/a>\r\nuntil their next meeting.\r\nThat may be because while Lowndes County dithered,\r\nten other of the 18 counties in the region agreed to put it on the ballot,\r\nso now it doesn’t matter what the Lowndes County Commission decides about that.\r\nRemember, even with it on the ballot, it can still be voted down, like in 2012.\r\nMeanwhile, according to the VDT<\/a>,\r\n

\r\n

\r\nIn the coming weeks, a regional roundtable of government\r\nrepresentatives will determine when the public vote will take place,\r\nthe projected revenue from the tax and what projects the tax would\r\nfund if passed.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nYou, the taxpayers, are not invited to those roundtables,\r\nwhich will be held on unknown dates at unknown locations.\r\n

\r\nOn the agenda for Monday morning and Tuesday evening is\r\nthe ironic justaxposition of\r\n\r\n\r\nSpecial Proclamation Presentation to the Teen Explosion Youth Action Group<\/a>\r\nand\r\nFY2018 Juvenile Justice Incentive Grant Program Request for Proposals (RFP)<\/a>.\r\nThere are \r\ntwo<\/a>\r\nGDOT\r\nitems<\/a>\r\nand a\r\nlate payment by a subdivision<\/a>,\r\nwith its name spelled wrong by the county, or by Trulia, or somebody.\r\n
