\nRemember who code enforcement is in Lowndes County.\n\n\n\n<\/a>\n\nAccording to Ashley Paulk:<\/a>\n

\nYou’re looking at him. Me.\n<\/blockquote>\nSo if you want code enforcement to do something about it,\ntalk to Ashley Paulk.\nHe actually said something about that last night;\nvideo to come.\n

\nSo I asked Sheriff Prine if there was any other way such a matter\ncould be brought to the attention of the Sheriff’s office.\nHe said a citizen could go to the Magistrate Court and file a complaint.\n

\n\nPaul Leavy, VDT<\/a>\n<\/small>\n<\/td><\/tr><\/table>\nIf the Court issued a warrant, it would go to the Sheriff’s office,\nwhich would pursue the matter.\n

\nI repeated back to Sheriff Prine what I thought he said and told him\nthat was what I was going to post, which I now have.\nIf I have gotten any of this incorrect, I invite the Sheriff or anyone\nelse to correct it by commenting on the blog on this post,\nor by sending email to\n\nthe blog submission address.<\/a>\n

\nAlso, I’d like to point out that Magistrate Court handles both civil\n\nand criminal matters.<\/a>\nAnd that the\n\nDistrict Attorney has contact information on the county web pages,<\/a>\nas does the\n\nSuperior Court.<\/a>\n

\n\n<\/a>\nAnd as Sheriff Prine and former Sheriff Paulk are well aware,\nit is possible to sue state constitutional officers and elected bodies in\nthe United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia Valdosta Division.\nThere appear to be\nthree civil rights cases against the\nLowndes County Board of Commissioners open at the moment.<\/a>\n
