TENSIONING ON HOLD\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\nDo people no longer need to know about those things?\nOr does it take NRC a month to get around to adding those notes?\n<\/p>\n<p>\nOnly\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2012\/11\/nuclear-reactors-near-here.html\">125 miles from here,<\/a>\nwhy was\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nrc.gov\/reading-rm\/doc-collections\/event-status\/reactor-status\/2013\/20130119ps.html\">\nFarley 1 at 93% on 19 January 2013?<\/a>\nMeanwhile, 160 miles from here,\nCrystal River 3 (the only nuclear reactor at Crystal River, FL)\nremains at 0%,\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2013\/01\/solar-pieces-of-a-puzzle-dr-michael-g-noll.html\">\nas it has since 2009.<\/a>\n200 miles from here,\nVogtle 1 and 2 have remained at 100% for the past 30 days:\ncongratulations!\nHowever, Vogtle Units 3 and 4\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2013\/01\/failed-concrete-the-bane-of-nuclear-reactors-1.html\">\nremain at 0% as construction delays stretch out and costs go up.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\nSomebody explain to me again how big centralized baseload power plants,\nespecially nuclear, are supposed to be good because they&#39;re up 24\/7?\n<\/p>\n<p>\n-jsq\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Why is Plant Hatch Unit 1 running at well below capacity?
