The City of Valdosta\nwelcomes representatives today from Rand McNally and USA Today as\nthey consider Valdosta as the Best of the Road\u2019s Friendliest Town\nin America. Citizens are encouraged to turn out in big numbers this\nafternoon at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Historic Lowndes County Courthouse\nin Downtown Valdosta (108 East Central Avenue) for a ceremony and a\npresentation of the keys to the city, followed by activities similar to a\nFirst Friday event. During the day, these guests will be visiting various\nparts of our city, so let\u2019s show them who&#8217;s America&#8217;s Friendliest!
