Lowndes County received a\r\nGEFA loan for $1,734,000.00 for these improvements. Carter &#038; Sloope\r\nhas proposed to provide the engineering services for this project\r\nfor $130,000.00 which is 7.5% of the total construction costs.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nLowndes County has identified several sanitary sewer improvements to\r\ninclude the removal of sludge from the aeration basin, installing\r\nsolar powered mixers in the holding pond, installation of a second\r\nscreening structure, and the rehabilitation of several lift stations\r\nand manholes within the system.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left:3em;text-indent:-3em\">\r\nOPTIONS: 1.
