\r\nI voted early at the Lowndes County Board of Elections.\r\nTuesday November 8th precincts will be open for Election Day 2016.\r\n

\r\nThe County Commission staff didn’t manage to get its referendum in on time\r\nabout\r\n\r\n changing Tax Commissioners from elected to appointed,\r\nso everybody had to vote twice<\/strong><\/em>.\r\nThey had a second set of voting machines set up in the back office,\r\nwith double election officials, double poll watchers, and the same will be\r\nrequired at all precincts Tuesday, so double the cost to the\r\nLowndes County taxpayers for this whole election.\r\n
