\r\nFDEP is fine with Sabal Trail\r\nboring through the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway in Marion County, FL,\r\n\r\n\"Marjorie<\/a>\r\n\r\nas well as\r\ndrilling under Suwannee River State Park in Hamilton and Suwannee County, FL.\r\n

\r\nFor that Greenway,\r\nsee the maps shown here (click on any one of them for a larger image),\r\npulled from Sabal Trail’s\r\n\r\n “Implementation Plan — Supplemental Information” of 7 April 2016, pages 51-53.\r\nIt’s not clear the mile markers match with the rest of the maps Sabal Trail\r\nfiled with FERC as\r\n\r\nAccession Number 20160407-5081<\/a>,\r\n“Sabal Trail Transmission, LLC submits its Implementation\r\nPlan—Supplemental Information for the Sabal Trail Project\r\nunder CP15-17.”\r\n

\r\nThis is to confirm that the July 22, 2015 letter from Lew Scruggs\r\n(attached) regarding the Sabal Trail crossing of state-owned uplands\r\nwas intended to signify that the Florida Department of Environmental\r\nProtection, Division of Recreation and Parks, is in agreement with\r\nthe special conditions in the Trustees easements and the final\r\nalignment of the Sabal Trail transmission pipeline, including the\r\ntwo proposed crossings of the Florida National Scenic Trail on lands\r\nowned by the State of Florida. These two crossings are located at MP\r\n267.3R, within the Suwannee River State Park (which is proposed to\r\nbe installed using Horizontal Directional Drill technology) and MP\r\n\r\n\"Halpata<\/a>\r\n3384.9, on lands within the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida\r\nGreenway (which is proposed to be installed by conventional boring).\r\n<\/p>\r\n
