Stalvey Jr. noted\nthat traffic on Cat Creek Road\nis already a problem, and adding a subdivision would make it worse.\nHe noted that it&#8217;s traffic routed down Cat Creek to Moody that\naccounts for a lot of it.\nHe said school children stood out on the road and they were already in danger.\n<blockquote>\n&ldquo;If we put 49 more houses out there, it&#8217;s just going to up the risk.&rdquo;\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\nHe explicitly linked road widening to development:\n\n<!--more-->\n<blockquote>\n&ldquo;I don&#8217;t know if there are provisions to widen Cat Creek Road in the near future,\nbut if that&#8217;s going to happen, then that needs to happen before\nanother subdivision is put in.&rdquo;\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\nHe also said:\n<blockquote>\n&ldquo;Lastly, putting a subdivision in the middle &#8230;\npretty much where that subdivision starts is where most of our farmland\nin north Lowndes County starts.\nAnd like Mr. Marshall said, most of that land has been in families for years\nand years and years.\nWe&#8217;ve got a quiet community out there, and we&#8217;d like to keep it there.\nI appreciate your concerns.&rdquo;\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\nHere&#8217;s\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=HX9K4bpwtY0\">\nthe video:<\/a>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"480\" height=\"390\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HX9K4bpwtY0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<br>\n<small>\nTraffic on Cat Creek Road at Nottinghill &#8211;Thomas E.
