Quarterman @ LCC 12 July 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=euGOSxh45Rg\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\"   src=\"http:\/\/i2.ytimg.com\/vi\/euGOSxh45Rg\/default.jpg\"><\/a>\nIf somebody puts a subdivision next to your field, beware of trash,\nand the same if you buy a lot in it.\nFor that matter, why do we need more houses?\n<p>\nSome of what I said:\n<blockquote>\nTo expand a little bit on that subdivision next to\nour west field,\none of the builders continued to push trash into our field\nuntil I had to sue him for trespass in\nSuperior Court to get him to stop.\n<\/blockquote>\nI meant to say in Magistrate&#8217;s Court.\n<blockquote>\nI called code enforcement multiple times and\nthey did nothing to help stop it.\nNow that there&#8217;s a new fire chief perhaps things are better,\nbut anybody who&#8217;s got a field nearby might want to watch for that.\n<p>\nAnyone who hopes to buy houses in the subdivision might want to\nwatch to see if there are any dumpsters in there,\nbecause the subdivision near us, the trash was buried in the yards;\nyou can ask anyone who owns one of those lots.\n<p>\nAs far as needing houses for Moody, there are usually ten houses\nfor sale in that subdivision, and roughtly 10 or 15 more that are for rent.\nSo it&#8217;s not clear we actually need more houses.\n<p>\nAs far as lot size, this is the same issue as came up last year\nwith Glen Laurel on Old Pine Road.\n&#8230;\nThe room was filled with people\nfor the same reasons that you&#8217;re hearing now.\nAt that time the commission decided to say &#8230;.\n<\/blockquote>\nYou can\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/05\/developers-refused-to-budge-and-commissioners-caved-glen-laurel.html\">\nsee for yourself what happened in May of last year:<\/a>\n\n<!--more-->\n<a href=\"\/blog\/2011\/05\/developers-refused-to-budge-and-commissioners-caved-glen-laurel.html\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;\"   src=\"http:\/\/i1.ytimg.com\/vi\/L6wtGLn5di4\/default.jpg\"><\/a>\nthe developers refused to budge on lot size,\nand the Commissioners caved and gave them the rezoning.\n<p>\nHere&#8217;s\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=euGOSxh45Rg\">\nPart 1 of 2:<\/a>\n<p align=\"center\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"480\" height=\"390\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/euGOSxh45Rg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<br>\n<small>\nNot clear houses are more important than agriculture &mdash;John S.
