\r\n\r\nWill they take longer to vote this evening at 5:30 PM than the\r\n8 1\/2 minutes for yesterday morning’s Work Session with\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\n a full agenda<\/a>?\r\n\r\n

\r\nNo questions yesterday from Commissioners about that $55,979.00 in\r\n\r\ntwo<\/a> no-bid\r\nitems, although the County Manager did say “quotes” about the .\r\nlift station pump<\/a>.\r\nThe\r\n\r\nCounty Manager’s Report<\/a>\r\ndid say he’d received\r\nan annexation request from Hahira for the W. Main St. property<\/a> and he indicated no grounds for the county to protest.\r\n

\r\nThe only question from a Commissioner was about which one of them\r\nmight be picked to serve with\r\n\r\n“Ms. Andrea Schuijer”<\/a>\r\non the \r\n\r\nSouth Regional Joint Development Authority<\/a>.\r\nAnswer: maybe Clay Griner.\r\nNobody asked why\r\n\r\nthe county’s web page on that Joint Authority<\/a>\r\nsays Andrea Schruijer is already on it.\r\nIs this a reappointment?\r\nAnd which slots are vacant?\r\nAlso, what does this Joint Authority do?\r\n<\/p>\r\nFor the\r\nSouthern Georgia Area Agency on Aging<\/a>,\r\nyes it’s Commissioner Joyce Evans for reappointment.\r\n

\r\nCounty Engineer Mike Fletcher said\r\n\r\nthe Beaver Lane closing<\/a>\r\npreviously came up in 2002 and was denied,\r\nbut now some of the opponents from then are for it.\r\nTonight is not the public hearing: merely a determination on scheduling a public hearing.\r\n
