Mr. Prichard has made many comments\nin reference to several of his employees; in recent news paper\narticles and on the evening news indirectly of course that \u201cthey\u201d\nhad bios opinions and even questioned my character in one article.<\/P>\n

Mr. Prichard also informed everyone\nthere were no inhumane treatment issues other than the pot belly pig.\nWell I believe in this document from County Manager Joe Prichard to\nMs. Mary Green with Department of Agriculture animal protection says\notherwise. I believe Mr. Prichard\u2019s recent statement to the media\nwas though our investigation we found no wrong doing\u2026 lets list\nthem here.<\/P>\n\n\n

    \n

  1. After your visit I (Joe\nPrichard) did an in-depth investigation of the charges.\nIn his last statement he indicated he spoke to some employees.<\/FONT><\/P>\n<\/OL>\n

      \n

    1. Teams of two individuals to\nconduct euthanasia (There have always been\nteams of two)<\/FONT> we are selecting individuals with the most\nexperience. (We were told if you\u2019re not\ncertified to euthanize in 6 month you would be let go)<\/FONT>. The\nfollowing criteria have not been met. Everyone in the shelter is\ncertified to euthanize and they still do. Perhaps that\u2019s why two\nindividuals were terminated for euthanasia violations.<\/FONT><\/P>\n<\/OL>\n

        \n

      1. On the following day the\ndirector will maintain the records. However\nthe shelter was written up for I believe it was 32 or 36 cc\u2019s\nmissing that was an entire page under her direction.<\/FONT><\/P>\n<\/OL>\n

          \n

        1. Control an access to drugs:\n<\/FONT>Obviously the tech room was the only\nroom they were originally targeting\u2026 I wonder why<\/U><\/FONT>?\nPerhaps indicated in <\/FONT>section 7. And I\nalso wonder why they changed it to the entire shelter? <\/FONT>\n<\/P>\n<\/OL>\n

          Other procedures, discrepancies\non the methods used during euthanasia<\/B><\/FONT>? In my statement I\nwrote I have seen animals smothered in the\nshelter<\/B><\/FONT>, could this be the \u201cother procedures\/methods\u201d?<\/P>\n

            \n

          1. Vet Care: the last sentence\n\u201cthose animals <\/FONT>will\nbe euthanized by a humane method specified by law.<\/B><\/U><\/I><\/FONT>\nDoes it mean they were not done as such\nbefore?<\/FONT> Again in my statement and\nRonnie Ganas statement.<\/B><\/FONT><\/P>\n<\/OL>\n

            1. Personality conflicts between\nthe Department of Agriculture and Lowndes County employees, I\nhave a video which is rather interesting but I would call it more\nthan conflicting personalities.<\/FONT> And then we have the chain of\ncommand again, if we would have followed procedure. Why\nwould he want any claim forwarded to him? Would he perhaps fire an\nemployee for going to the Department of Agriculture with issues\ninvolving live animals in the shelter?<\/FONT><\/P>\n<\/OL>\n

              1. I am not\ngoing to comment on this I think it says enough.<\/FONT>\n\n<\/a>\n<\/P>\n<\/OL>\n

                1. Again no\ncomment needed<\/FONT><\/P>\n<\/OL>\n

                  \n\n<\/a>\n<\/P>\n

                  Items of concern and some others\ndiscussed in our meeting. I can assure you of cooperation and\nattention regarding all matters related to the adherence\nof rules and laws associated with our animal shelter <\/B><\/FONT>per\nJoe Prichard.<\/blockquote>\n

                  Hers is my concern; these were\nobviously violations of the law. Which include inhumane treatment to\nname just one. Regardless of his personal opinion of any employee, it\nis or should be his duty as the county manager to adhere\nto the law. <\/B><\/FONT>I have no problem saying I feel extremely\ndiscriminated against because it is obvious Mr. Prichard was aware of\nwhat was going on in the shelter and chose to attack my character and\nindicate I had a bias opinion to deviate from the problems. How he\nchooses to handle these matters of concern is obviously a problem.\n<\/P>\n

                  Retaliation\u2026 oh yes I am positive\nI know the answer.<\/P>\n
