\nPresumably that’s a misspelling for
\nAndrea Schruijer, who is also Executive Director of the Valdosta-Lowndes Development Authority.

\nsays she’s already on it.
\nSo is this a reappointment?
\nAnd which slots are vacant?
\nAlso, what does this Joint Authority do?<\/p>\n

\nagenda sheet<\/a>
\nfor the appointment to the
\nSouthern Georgia Area Agency on Aging<\/a>
\nalmost says what they’re planning to do:
\n“Commissioner Joyce Evans’ term on the Southern Georgia Area Agency on Aging Board
\nwill expire June 30, 2016, leaving a vacant seat.
\nStaff asks that the Board appoint a member to fill the vacant seat.”
\nIt doesn’t say they’re going to reappoint Commissioner Evans.<\/p>\n

        \nSo should that be reappoint Ms. Schruijer?
        \nAnd who’s not being reappointed to make room for “a Commissioner”?
        \nThe county’s web page says this Authority serves as “a funding mechanism”
        \nbut not for what:\n<\/p>\n

        \nis comprised of members representing Lowndes, Berrien, Brooks,
        \nClinch, Echols and Lanier counties. Serving as a funding mechanism,
