\r\nThe long-awaited animal tethering ordinance will be heard Monday morning\r\nand voted on Tuesday evening, as part of an\r\nAnimal Welfare Ordinance<\/a>.\r\nThey’re going to reappoint Joyce Evans and Frank Morman to the\r\n\r\nLandbank Authority<\/a>.\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nThey last\r\n\r\nreappointed those two 27 March 2012<\/a>,\r\nso apparently they serve four-year terms.\r\n

\r\nDespite the public not knowing there was an opening on the\r\nGeorgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Board<\/a>,\r\nthey’ve already picked who they’re going to appoint: Chris Yarbrough.\r\nWhat he sent in his application, we don’t know, but his LinkedIn profile<\/a>\r\nsays he’s a “Community Supervision Officer III Mental Health Specialist,\r\nGeorgia Department of Community Supervision,\r\nMay 1996 – Present (19 years 11 months) Valdosta, Ga.”\r\n

\r\nPer LAKE open record request, here are\r\n\r\nthe packet items<\/a> for\r\nthe Children’s Activity Center (CAC) rezoning \r\non Skipper Bridge Road,\r\n\r\nREZ-2016-06<\/a>, as sent to the\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n2016-02-29 29 Planning Commission Regular Session<\/a>.\r\nThere may have been additions or changes since then.\r\nSome day the county will put such things on its own website so the taxpayers and voters can see.\r\nI can see one addition to the agenda sheet<\/a>:\r\n

\r\nAt their February regular meeting the GLPC reviewed this request and ultimately\r\nrecommended for its approval by an 8-0 vote.\r\nA representative of the applicant spoke for the request and no one\r\nspoke against ii.\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nTwo items about Copeland Road:\r\nSurveying and Engineering Service for Sidewalks along Copeland Road<\/a>\r\nso Lowndes Middle School students don’t have to walk along the edge of the pavement,\r\nand\r\nPublic Right of Way Acknowledgment Form – Copeland Road<\/a>, which last involves contracting with Georgia Southern and Florida Railway Company “to address pipe needed for the Copeland road Project. Any cost mentioned in the agreement will paid by the developer.”\r\nNot clear who “the developer” is.\r\n
