\r\nSo well attended there weren’t enough handouts,\r\n\r\nas remarked on by Greg Odom<\/a>,\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nwho\r\n\r\nlater also said<\/a> the proposed Comprehensive Plan Update didn’t have any plans for canopy roads, or roads on existing rights of way like in Virginia:\r\n“For the past 25 years there has not been a healthy attitude\r\nabout people who want to maintain dirt roads.\r\nThere has been an attitude of let’s pave everything,\r\nand let’s pave it in an outrageous way….”\r\n

\r\nLast night’s meeting was billed\r\n\r\n\r\non the City of Valdosta’s calendar<\/a> as the first of three workshops about this Update, organized by the\r\nSouthern Georgia Regional Commission (SGRC)<\/a>.\r\nLowndes County had nothing on their website about this anywhere I can find.\r\n\r\nBelow are links to each LAKE video from last night’s Workshop,\r\nfollowed by a video playlist, and then some notes about online documents<\/a> and upcoming meetings.\r\nSee also the LAKE videos of the previous discussion in January before a Planning Commission Work Session<\/a>.\r\n
