\r\nThey vote tonight at 5:30 PM.\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nAt yesterday’s Work Session, there were two unscheduled reports.\r\n\r\nMark Stalvey of the county Housing Authority<\/a>\r\nsaid they’re working together with Habitat for Humanity\r\nto form a nonprofit for collecting funds for rehabilitating\r\nhousing, and they’re asking for $5,000 each from Valdosta and Lowndes County\r\nto get the nonprofit up and running, in return for which each would get\r\nto appoint some board members; the rest would be elected by the nonprofit board.\r\n

\r\nLast,\r\n\r\nTina Folsom with Lowndes Associated Ministries to People (LAMP)<\/a>\r\nsaid their executive director left,\r\nso they don’t need their space in the Leila Ellis building.\r\nThey’d like to be let out of their lease and have the funds applied\r\nto another county building they’re also renting space in.\r\n
