(That&#8217;s different from the rumored\ntime of 1PM.)\nIt&#8217;s a called meeting for the purpose of discussing school system consolidation.\nThe woman who provided this information said:\n<blockquote>\nNot sure there&#8217;s a resolution.\nThey may say their stands.\n<\/blockquote>\nThey meet at 1592 Norman Drive in Valdosta.\n<p align=\"center\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lowndes.k12.ga.us\/education\/components\/scrapbook\/default.php?sectiondetailid=3209\">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border:none;\"  width=\"500\" height=\"210\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lowndes.k12.ga.us\/images\/ace\/3209\/ace_402447320_1296660348.jpg\"><\/a>\n<p>\nThere is at this writing nothing on their web page and no notice in the newspaper that I can find.\nOf course by state law all they have to do for a called meeting is\nto post a notice at their meeting location and send a notice to the newspaper of record; the newspaper doesn&#8217;t have to publish it.\n<p>\n-jsq\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Update 12:15AM 30 August 2011: It&#8217;s really at 1PM and an agenda is posted now.
