\nThe County Manager has found the legal documents on\nissuance of the \nthe bonds Chairman Slaughter listed in his letter of 18 January<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

\nReceived yesterday (as a *.docx file, and still to the wrong email address,\nbut this time including both residence and postal addresses),\nCounty Manager Joe Pritchard followed up on his\n\nemail of 29 January<\/a>,\nin which he had seemed puzzled about the term\n\n"financial instruments"<\/a>\n(it's a standard term in business and investing)\nsuch as\n\nI asked for 28 January<\/a>.\nI thank Mr. Pritchard once again for responding.\n(I thanked Chairman Bill Slaughter in person the other day.)\nThe relevant correspondance about the flyer that Mr. Pritchard\npreviously wrote\n\nwas created by the VDT<\/a> is still missing.\nI will ask for that Monday, when I respond to Mr. Pritchard's most courteous\noffer to inspect the financial instruments.\n<\/p>\n

\nTo follow up my email of yesterday, I have obtained the binder of\nthe documents executed at the closing of the $15,500,000 CVDA\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n

\nRevenue Bonds (Lowndes County Judicial Administration Complex)\nSeries 2003, and the binder of the documents executed at the closing\nof the $40,845,000 Lowndes County General Obligation Sales Tax Bonds\nSeries 2008, for you to inspect at your convenience.\n<\/p>\n

\n\n\"Lowndes<\/a>\nI have also obtained copies of the Preliminary Official Statement,\nOfficial Statement, and papers filed in the validation proceeding\nfor the Lowndes County Public Facilities Authority (Georgia)\n$9,265,000 Refunding Revenue Bonds (Lowndes County Judicial\nAdministration Complex) Series 2012 and $7,545,000 Refunding Revenue\nBonds (Lowndes County Water and Sewerage Project) Series 2013, for\nyou to inspect at your convenience. I have not yet received the\nbinder of the documents executed at the closings of these issues. I\ncan make it available for your inspection as soon as I receive it.\n<\/p>\n

\n\n\"$0<\/a>\nThere is no paper trail leading to zero dollars owed on any of this\ndebt, as the premise that zero dollars is owed is not correct. Also,\nI am not sure what else other than the documents I have obtained you\nmight mean by financial instruments related to these bond issues.\n<\/p>\n

\nI think Chairman Slaughter's letter and the documents I have\nobtained will provide you the information in which you're interested\nand answer your questions. Given this, I would appreciate your\ninspecting the documents I have obtained and then letting me know if\nthere are any other documents you would like to inspect. Please let\nme know if this is agreeable.\n<\/p>\n
